St Peter’s achieves Eco Church Gold Award

The Eco Church Award scheme is a nation-wide programme run by the environmental charity A Rocha. The Gold Award recognises the implementation of good Creation-care policies and initiatives across the life of a church, its attenders and their interactions with their local community. St Peter’s is the first parish in Bristol Diocese, the 27th in the Church of England and the 40th church across England and Wales to receive this award. An exhibition about this side of St Peter’s life is on display in St Peter’s South Aisle and can be viewed any time the church is open (every day of the week in daylight hours).
